DINNER NOTICE 1

Appeal for support

Link announcement notice #10 provided information concerning our next activity in the Link program - a dinner. To date support for this event has been poor with only 16 classmates/wives signed up. Our current level of participation is an embarrassment to the Class of 59 and an insult to the Class of 09. We have been trying to instill in the Class of 09 the concept of friendship among classmates and comraderie among classes. Our support in the past has exemplified this concept, but the support for the commitment dinner falls short and sends the wrong message. Details for event are;

Date; Monday, 20 August 2007

Time: 1830 reception in the Bo Coppage room in Alumni Hall with Superintendent, Commandant, USNA officers, Class of 09 officers;

1900 dinner in Alumni Hall with Bud McFarlane as the speaker

Dress; Coat and tie for men and corresponding appropriate attire for ladies - better half is invited.

Responses: Needed no-later-than 1 August; names of attendees will be provided to USNA to permit dinner plans to be finalized.

Cost Free to Class of 59 attendees; Class of 2009 will have us as their guests
