The next
activity in our support to the Class of 2009 is a commitment dinner. At that event, the midshipmen agree to
complete their remaining two years at USNA and fulfill the five year obligation
following graduation - quite a decision for any 20 year old. We will provide a speaker and eat with the
Class of 2009 members at dinner. Classmates
and their ladies are invited to participate.
Particulars for the event are;

reception in the Bo Coppage room in Alumni Hall with Superintendent,
Commandant, USNA officers, Class of 2009 officers
and Class of 59 attendees; dinner at 1900 in
Alumni Hall with Bud McFarlane as the speaker
Dress: Coat
and tie for men and corresponding appropriate attire for the ladies
Responses: Needed no-later-than 1 August 2007; names of attendees will be provided to USNA
to permit dinner plans to be finalized
Cost: Will
be free to Class of 59 attendees; Class
of 2009 will have us as their guests
