Bonds of Gold - ring donation

This is the final call for rings for the "Bonds of Gold" activity in our Link in the Chain interaction with the Class of 2009. To date seven folks have tentatively agreed to donate a ring or a miniature. Anyone desiring to add to the ring total should contact our Link coordinator, Marty Finerty at mjfna59@comcast.net or tel: 410-849-2502. Past issues of SHIPMATE and our web page have provided information concerning this activity and the overall program. Marty will contact all donors individually in March to provide guidance concerning how and when to submit a ring. Details concerning a presentation ceremony tentatively scheduled for late April at USNA will be provided also. Thank you to all who are participating in this specific activity as well as the overall general support. Funds to finance the program are now at 98 percent. About $300 is still needed to address all activities. Tax deductible donations can be made to the USNA Foundation marked for the Class of 59 Link in the Chain program.
